Ty Whitman – Ministry Associate & Youth Director

 

Ty recently graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, with a degree in Business Management and a specialization in Leadership Studies. While at college, Ty led a ministry at Whitworth called Awake, where he helped students “grow in knowledge and love of Jesus”, and worked with High Schoolers at La Jolla Presbyterian Church where he developed a passion for youth ministry and sharing the Gospel. He is very excited to be a part of the CKPres family, and to be able to foster a community with the youth towards growth and love for Jesus and each other.

Reading has become one of Ty’s greatest passions, yet it was not always so growing up. Ty has a uncanny ability to quote the Tv show, “The Office”, and he has the tendency to relate most situations he finds himself in to the show itself. Outside of work you’ll most likely find him at the gym, or watching Netflix in his spare time.
