Christmas Eve Worship Service Options

5pm  in person worship [available simultaneously by livestream]

Register now to join us IN PERSON for our in person worship service

You must register for the 5pm service.

7pm Outdoor Carol Sing and Candle-lighting

Join us in the CKPC parking lot for a carol sing with some scripture readings. You can participate from the safety (and warmth!) of your car by tuning into our radio transmitter at 105.1, or wearing a mask and in designated areas for social distancing. No registration required for the carol sing.

Join for our annual Community Thanksgiving Service with local churches. Silverdale Lutheran has provided a YouTube link of the video that can be viewed anytime during Thanksgiving week!

Christmas Angels

Kitsap Community Resources is sponsoring a Santa Shop where parents can “shop” for gifts for their children. CKPC can help by filling Santa’s shop with clothing, shoes, boots, coats, bedding, toys, books, games and bikes for children ages newborn-18 years. Please do not wrap items.

You can also make a financial donation instead and we will shop for you! Just specify “Christmas Angels” in the memo line, or give online.

Virtual Candlelighting

Calling ALL CKPC attendees!! We need your help! We want to have as many of our attendees as possible (even if you’ve never set foot in our doors but have joined us by livestream during the pandemic) record themselves for our Christmas Eve service. Don’t worry if you don’t have a good voice, it’ll be patched together with everyone else in the church.

What you’ll need: Candle(s), headphones, and two devices (two phones, phone and laptop, tablet, etc.).

Steps: If you’re unsure how to follow these steps, you can email office@ckpc.org to set up a Zoom call where we will record you and your family singing.

1. Connect your headphones to one of the devices, and use that device to play the recording of “Silent Night” provided below (it must be to this recording so it is in sync with everyone else).
2. Use your other device to record yourself/ves singing along to the recording (with your headphones in) while holding your candle.
3. Email your recording to office@ckpc.org. If this does not work, send us an email and we will find a way to get your recording.

Taproot Theater Virtual Performance

CKPC is partnering with Taproot Theater once again to bring you a holiday play for the Christmas season. This will be available through a password-protected Vimeo link.

Advent Pilgrimage Event

In lieu of traditional choir concerts and kids events that normally fill the Christmas season at CKPC, we will be holding an outdoor pilgrimage event which you can participate in on Dec 20, 21 or 22 which is designed for all ages to enter into the meaning of the season.

In preparation for the event, we will be posting readings, reflections, family activities and “pilgrim practices” for you to participate in throughout the month of December. Each week will have a different “theme” for you to enter into the meaning of the season.
